Built in Barcelona.
Built to last.

Iqana is a quantitative digital-asset firm. We run systematic, risk-managed strategies for institutional allocators — designed, validated, and executed programmatically.

Our team combines deep expertise across quantitative finance, technology, data and AI, with prior experience at top-tier investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers — and many years building and trading systematic strategies in digital assets and traditional markets.

Our Values

The constraints that define us.

These are not values we display on a wall. They are the operating constraints that define every decision — from strategy design to client communication.

Data over conviction.

Crypto generates the deepest multi-dimensional data of any asset class — on-chain, microstructure, macro, sentiment. Every position is the output of a model validated out-of-sample; human judgment enters in research and risk oversight, never in execution.

Transparency without compromise.

Every strategy runs inside the client’s own account — positions, fills, and rebalances visible in real time on your own dashboard. Process is documented and auditable; CNMV regulation and MiCA compliance are the baseline, not the ceiling.

Risk first, return second.

Position sizing, drawdown limits, and exposure controls aren’t overlays added afterwards — they’re written into the model from the start. We target consistent risk-adjusted returns over maximum upside, never the other way around.

Our story

Where we come from.

Our engagement with digital asset markets started in 2017. By 2020 we were building quantitative strategies specifically for crypto — applying institutional rigor to a market most professional capital was still ignoring. Iqana Technologies, S.L.U. was founded in 2024 to bring this work to institutional allocators under a regulated, non-custodial structure.

We’re a team of engineers, physicists, mathematicians, and PhDs — people who approach the market as a problem to solve, not a narrative to follow.

Today, digital assets are no longer a question of if for institutional capital — only of how. The operational layer that allocators, treasuries, and asset managers need to engage these markets properly is still being built. That’s where Iqana sits.
